Impact of Spending Review on the ONS Statistical Work Programme

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) have launched a consultation to help inform our business plans in light of the recent Government Spending Review announcement.

The reductions to ONS's budget mean that we will need to reduce some of our outputs and services and hence we are seeking your help to determine the shape of our future work programme.

The formal consultation is available on the Office for National Statistics website. The consultation is scheduled to last for 8 weeks and is due to close on 24 December 2010.

It seeks information that will help us to better understand your requirements in terms of our statistics and services, how they are used, and if outputs are cut to what degree it would affect you.
