Regional Workforce Jobs

The quarterly update of the regional workforce jobs datasets on Nomis due on 16 March 2011 has been delayed. The new December 2010 estimates will now be released on 13 April 2011.

The delay only applies to regional estimates. UK and GB estimates of Workforce Jobs have been updated as part of the March 2011 Labour Market Statistical Bulletin available on the National Statistics website. UK and GB time-series data are available to download free of charge from the National Statistics website.

The original intention was to revise both the UK and Regional Workforce Jobs estimates as part of the March 2011 labour market statistical release. Due to production and quality assurance processes taking longer than anticipated, estimates of Regional Workforce Jobs will not be updated until April 2011.

To ensure the workforce jobs datasets on Nomis, which provide access to both the regional and national figures, are internally consistent, they will not be updated until 13 April 2011.
