The monthly update of the claimant count and Jobcentre vacancies data series took place at 09:30 on 17 August 2011 with the release of new data for July 2011. The full list of updates is given below.

Denominators update: the 16-64 population estimates used to calculate rates with claimant count and DWP benefits datasets (denominators) have been updated for local authorities, regions and related areas. As a consequence, claimant count and DWP benefit rates for dates in 2010 onwards may not match those obtained previously. See the separate news article for further details.

Headline statistics: The headline national and regional figures are available from the regional and national profile or as a spreadsheet download (xls).

For local areas use either the local authority profile, parliamentary constituency profile, or ward profile depending on the type of area for which you want figures.
