Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Geography Update

The LEP geography was updated on 7 July 2011:

  • New Dorset LEP added. Covers the LAs in Dorset plus Bournemouth and Poole.
  • York and North Yorkshire LEP coverage extended to include East Riding.

7 July 2011 New Dorset LEP added. Covers the LAs in Dorset plus Bournemouth and Poole.
York and North Yorkshire LEP coverage extended to include East Riding.
13 June 2011 New Humber LEP added covering North Lincolnshire, Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North East Lincolnshire.
North East Lincolnshire also joins Greater Lincolnshire LEP.
24 May 2011 Birmingham and Sheffield LEPs coverage extended. Bolsover joined Sheffield and Redditch. Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest have joined Birmingham.
18 May 2011 New Gloucestershire LEP added. Covers all six councils in Gloucestershire: Cheltenham, Cotswold, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Stroud and Tewkesbury.
18 Apr 2011 New Lancashire LEP added. Covers the LAs in the Lancashire County plus Blackpool UA and Blackburn UA.
