Nomis is a web-based database of labour market statistics based in Durham, a University town and Cathedral City which, along with Durham Castle are part of a World Heritage Site, which puts us in the same league as the Great Wall of China and the Pyramids.
Nomis is run by the University of Durham on behalf of the Office for National Statistics. First launched in 1981, Nomis houses an extensive range of government statistical information on the UK labour market including Employment, Unemployment, Earnings and Annual Population Survey.
