This dataset provides 2011 Census estimates of usual residents in England and Wales aged 16 and over, in employment the week before the Census, and with a work related second address. The data classifies people by age and shows which local authority or higher area in England and Wales they are usually resident and which district or higher area their work-related second address is located. The estimates are as at census day, 27 March 2011. A work related second address is the residence at which people reside during the working week or other relevant working period in which they are not resident at their permanent or family home. People with work related second addresses outside of the UK are counted in the category 'Outside UK'.
In order to protect against disclosure of personal information from the 2011 Census, there has been swapping of records in the Census database between different geographic areas, and so some counts will be affected. In the main, the greatest effects will be at the lowest geographies, since the record swapping is targeted towards those households with unusual characteristics in small areas.
